Hello, students! Hope you are ok! This week we'll continue to speak about Great Britain. We will find out some information about Scotland - the land of mountains. We are going to learn new words, read the text, watch the video about Great Britain and discuss some information about this country.

1). New words

to border on - межувати з
to be surrounded by - бути оточеним
knee- length skirt - спідниця довжиною до коліна
the patron saint - святий покровитель
the particular pattern - певний зразок

3) Listening for specific information

- Make sure you know what you have to do, e.g. match, fill in gaps or complete a table.
- Make notes as you listen.
- Use the sentences for filling in gaps or the topics from the table to help you while you are listening.
- If you miss some information, write a question mark to remind you to listen carefully the second time, e.g.the people of Scotland?
